Print A10 Envelopes
Sharp-eyed readers probably wonder why a link called “Print envelopes” appears on a menu called “Fun Stuff.”
Blind readers probably do not wonder. They depend on the availability of sighted friends to address envelopes. The form below liberates them from this dependency. The liberation is akin to fun stuff, I think.
Tip
The form below works with the business-sized envelope, which is 9½ inches wide by 4¼ inches high (A10).
Before trying my solution, be sure you know how to print envelopes with your printer. It probably involves the manual feed tray, which often is finicky. On my printer, for example, I must feed in the envelope before clicking the Print button. I feed in the narrow end of the envelope, face down, with the flap on the right.
When the Print dialog box appears, be sure the page zoom is 100% (Normal).
Note: The printing process hides the form labels, field borders and any fields you leave empty. The fields do not enforce any content rules. So, you can use this form for U.S. or foreign postal addresses and codes.
